Finger joints are used to make side-to-side or end-to-end joints in wood or wood composites. Box joint bits make just that; great looking, strong box corners. The tightness of the cut and the maximum glue surface create a joint that is stronger than the wood itself. The flush mounted bearing eliminates the need for complex alignment. Some have removable cutters to arrange for a variety of material thickness. Carbide tipped.

Get tool, just need one thing

I was needing instructions on how to use the bit. I got to work for me but it still needs adjustment

Run the piece you need for one side of the joint. Then use this piece as a setup block for the other mating piece. Adjust the height of the bit to match the cut piece. Align by matching the fingers that were cut on the first board with the fingers on the bit. Then cut the other side of the joint. We recommend a push block or miter gauge to feed.
