These Taiwanese-style planes are designed to use either pushing or pulling. The A2 tool steel blade holds a sharp edge and produces fine shavings. EP4 is a perfect apron plane for fitting joints and general purpose block plane work. EP7 is good for fitting edge joints and knocking down tough interlocking grain.
