Dove tail bit

I build decorative boxes with intarsia figures on them. The dovetail bit enables me to really make very classy boxes. Thank you!

Bit head breaks off

The narrowing of the shank at the base of the bit caused the head to break off of the bit. I would not buy another.

This is a common issue with the very small dovetails. This is why we suggest that you run a first pass with a straight bit (1/8' diameter for this bit) to relieve the stress on the dovetail bit on the second pass. We are sending you a replacement bit. If you follow the suggested procedures you should have no problems in the future.
