This 8″ locked, 12 tooth, 5/8″ bore dado set is different from any other that you may have used. This is the first dado set to use interlocking plastic discs that are installed between the chippers to keep the blades in position. This means that while the set is rotating, the assembled elements will never come into contact with each other. You’ll get flat bottom grooves from 15/64″ to 13/16″ & virtually splinter-free cuts in solid wood, laminates & melamines, and veneer  plywood. The orange shield coating protects from heat, gumming, and corrosion. Compatible with most radial arm saws and stationary table saws, including Sawstop®.
