Produce rail and stile door frames for cabinet doors. These bits don't need to be taken apart, reversed, or have parts swapped. Just raise and lower bit in your router table to change cuts. Or make it even easier by using a 3/8″ thick sled to raise the material to the correct height for a perfect match. Rail end is cut face up and the edge is cut face down. For 3/4″ material. Do you have dimensions on the WL-1368 Wedge, showing the angle of the taper and the depth,. etc.?

Total cut length is 1-7/16", Bevel is 30°, Profile is 7/16" x 3/8", Slot is 1/4" x 3/8".

Easy and convenient to use

I currently have several of these router bits from Woodline which I have acquired over the past years. I used this one to build an arched raised panel from hard maple to connect the kitchen cabinets over the sink in my moms house. The profile of this router bit matched the doors of the current cabinets and allowed me to cut both the rails and stiles without having to remove and reinstall different bits. You cut the first profile then easily raise the bit to cut the other. I have made countless number of raised panels over the years with these bits and they continue to preform very well, just keep them clean.

Great 1-Piece Router Bit

I have had this bit for some time now and finally decided to use it on a new project. Figuring out how to set it up took while but once I did it works extremely well. I highly recommend using a 3/8 inch thick coping sled because it eliminated changing the bit height. Rockler sells a good one and the plastic shield rides against the fence and protects the sled from the bit. I did the cuts in 3 passes, adjusting the fence until the bearing was flush with the fence. It still goes quickly and produced clean cuts.
