Our "L" fence is made from a thick piece of aluminum that is straight up to .001" tolerance. The center cut-out allows use with most fence dust collection systems. Outside dimensions: 3" x 3" x 24" or 2" x 2" x 24". Cut-out dimensions: 3 3/4" x 1 3/8".

can you explain or share more pictures of the 5531 and 553G fences? its unclear for me which of the two I need, if any and how they work together?
The fences aren't meant to work together. The blue fence is a slightly heavier material and the dimensions are 1" more than the green. The blue is more popular because it would give you 1" more support.
