Timber Wolf™ Bandsaw Blades from PS Wood are the most reliable high-performance bandsaw blades you'll ever use!

Made from high silicon, low carbon steel, Timber Wolf™ bandsaw blades run cooler and last longer.

  • Milled teeth make them ideal for re-sawing thick stock because these blades are true tracking and DO NOT WANDER.
  • Run under low tension, and thus require less horsepower from your band saw.
  • These band saw blades produce a thin kerf and can make remarkably tight turns.
  • Welds are re-tempered for superior strength at the weld.
  • The weld on these blades is warranted.

With re-tempered welds designed for superior strength, Timber Wolf blades are among the most rugged and durable on the market. These bandsaw blades are specifically designed to operate under low tension, requiring less horsepower from the bandsaw and increasing the longevity of both the bandsaw and the blades. Timber Wolf blades' milled teeth make these blades ideal for sawing thick stock, and the blades are guaranteed not to wander.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • I have a 14" Jet band saw with 6" riser, what is the best blade ( number of teeth also the width ) for doing re-sawing ? My luck in the past has not been good. I even put on Carter guides, and still having bad lick. Thanks Dick

    This is a multi-step answer:
    1.  If the hp is 1 or less then go with a 1/2'  x 3tpi on greater then  5" up to 12" wood.
    2.  If its green wood (wet wood) and still 1hp or less order an AS .032  blade still 1/2" x 3tpi.
    3. If you have the 1-1/2hp model you can use a 3/4" x 3tpi blade.

Most people have the best luck with 1/2" blades because it puts less strain on the bandsaw giving you a more consistent cut and finish. Bigger the blade the more HP used.

    links to each solution:

    1.1/2" x 3tpi thin kerf
    2.1/2" x 3tpi .032 greenwood
    3.3/4" x 3tpi

As far as the Carter guides click on the instructions below. This works for both guide blocks and bearing systems on bandsaws. Most of the time something else is out of wack than the guides.

Blades

Longtime woodworker, short time bandsaw user, the blade my Grizzly bandsaw came with (even though it's a re-saw) was clearly only for softwood, no idea where to get a blade from I stumbled on Woodline at a woodworking show in WI, purchased two, (with some great customer service) and put one on this past weekend, great results - cut the mahogany clean! Thanks.

Tiberwolf bandsaw blades

These blades give are very precise, they cut clean enough that only a little bit of sanding is needed to clean up the edge.I am very happy with these blades.
