If you don't want to drill and make your own storage container, a ready-made version is available. It holds up to 100 bits and takes any of the interchangeable black inserts shown below. 12.6" square X 1.77" tall.

Will these work with 1/4” hex bits

It would be very tight because across the points there 9/64" wide.
WHAT SIZE OF HOLE DO YOU DRILL

New style PVC holders are 22mm x 9/16" high. The 22mm forstner bit is available on the same page.

Speed and delivery

Wrong bit size

I bought the WL-4220 Woodline Carbide Forstner Bit 22mm Dia to drill holes for the inserts. But the bit is actually 20mm, not 22mm. Holes are too small for the inserts. The inserts are 22mm diameter and I will have to find a different bit. The inserts themselves fit my router bits perfectly.

UPDATE: Woodline responded to my email quickly and has reimbursed me for the bit. Their customer service is excellent.

Plastic bit holders

Great buy. I have been using Woodline since 2005 and I love there products. There router bits are great and cut exceptionally well. I have no complaints and look forward to buying more of their bits.
