Vertical panel raisers require less power to operate than wide horizontal panel raisers and need a smaller opening in the router table. A 6" tall router table fence plus clamps and featherboards should be used to prevent tipping of the material. Three to five passes are best for safety and accuracy. Minimum material thickness is 5/8″. They are not usable with patterns for arched doors. Carbide tipped.

Vertical raised panel bit

Very successful. I made a special jig to hold my router horizontal allowing me to push the panel flat on the table. Results were great.
