Brad point bits are constructed to drill flat bottom holes in hardwoods, softwoods, plastic, and a variety of other materials.  These bits will not stray off-center under rough conditions. All bits are deeply fluted to clear chips, quickly, and the hex shanks are stamped with the bit size.
